Job summary

Amedisys, part of the Optum family, is seeking a Per Diem Speech Pathologist to deliver in-home evaluation and treatment for speech, language, cognition, voice, and swallowing disorders. You’ll collaborate with patients and families to improve communication, safety, independence, and quality of life in the home setting.

Required: active state license in speech pathology, CCC-SLP certification, and CPR. Preferred: 1+ year of experience.

Qualifications

• Current, active state license to practice speech pathology in the assigned state.
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) with accredited program.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat speech, language, cognition, voice and swallowing disorders in adults.
• Provide aural rehabilitation and AAC support for individuals with communication disorders.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
