Amedisys, part of the Optum family, is seeking a Per Diem Speech Pathologist to deliver in-home evaluation and treatment for speech, language, cognition, voice, and swallowing disorders. You will work with patients, families, and an interdisciplinary team to improve communication, safety, independence, and quality of life through personalized care.

Required qualifications include current state licensure in speech pathology, CCC-SLP with CAA-accredited program, CPR certification, and a valid

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered license to practice speech pathology.
• CCC-SLP with accredited program and clinical practicum.
• Current CPR certification.
• Driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsabilités

• Provide in-home evaluation and treatment for speech, language, cognition, voice, and swallowing disorders in adults.
• Collaborate with patients, families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team to improve communication and quality of life.
• Perform aural rehabilitation and AAC support for individuals with communication disorders.
• Other duties as assigned.
