Job summary

UnitedHealth Group's Amedisys division seeks a Per Diem Speech Pathologist to provide in-home evaluation and treatment of speech, language, cognitive, voice and swallowing disorders in adults in Fort Worth, Texas. You will partner with patients, families and the interdisciplinary team to improve communication, safety, independence and quality of life through personalized care.

Qualifications

• Active state license to practice speech-language pathology.
• Driver's license and reliable transportation.
• CCC-SLP certification with accredited program and CCC requirements.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Prevention, assessment, diagnosis and treatment of speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication and swallowing disorders in adults.
• Aural rehabilitation for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing and AAC support for those with language disorders.
• Other duties as assigned.
