Job summary

Amedisys is seeking a Speech Pathologist to deliver in-home evaluations and treatments for adults with speech, language, cognition, voice and swallowing disorders. You will partner with patients, families, and an interdisciplinary team to improve communication, safety, independence and quality of life through personalized care.

The role requires state licensure, CCC-SLP certification, CPR, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered license to practice speech pathology in the assigned state.
• Driver's license and reliable transportation.
• CCC-SLP certification with completed graduate coursework and accredited practicum.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home evaluation and treatment for speech, language, cognitive communication and swallowing disorders in adults.
• Provide aural rehabilitation and AAC support for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
