Powerback Rehabilitation is hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide outpatient rehabilitation in the patient’s home or in living facilities across Lowell, MA and surrounding areas. You will assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders, advancing therapy goals with families and caregivers.

The role emphasizes flexible scheduling in in-home settings, collaboration with the rehab team, and ongoing documentation to support patient progress.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Speech Language Pathologist license in the practicing state(s).
• Must have a valid driver's license or reliable transportation to patient homes.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient rehabilitation services in home settings for older adults.
• Evaluate and treat in patient's home or skilled living facilities as applicable.
• Develop and implement speech-language pathology treatment plans and goals.
• Coordinate with rehabilitation team and physicians to select best therapy regimen.
• Document clinical care and maintain records according to standards and timelines.
• Supervise CFYs and students per state licensure requirements when applicable.
• Ensure safety, manage equipment, and coordinate care in home and community contexts.
• Screen, examine, and progress patient goals with ongoing reassessment.
