Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide in-home and outpatient therapy for older adults. You will evaluate and treat patients in their homes or in facilities, coordinating with the rehab team to deliver high-quality care.

The role requires an active SLP license and a valid driver's license. The position offers a competitive hourly rate, a flexible schedule, and opportunities for mentorship and professional development.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Speech Language Pathologist license in the state(s) of practice.
• Must have a valid driver's license or reliable transportation to and from patients' residence.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient speech-language pathology services in the home or in facilities to older adults.
• Supervise CFYs, students, and support personnel as permitted by state licensure.
• Maintain timely clinical and billing documentation and attend related meetings.
• Collaborate with other rehabilitation team members to select appropriate treatment plans.
• Adapt plans of care based on patient needs and progress.
• Order supplies and equipment as necessary and ensure equipment safety and upkeep.
• Coordinate care in home and community settings with the interdisciplinary team.
