Job summary

Sunrun Inc is seeking a Field Sales Consultant to generate leads and present in-home solar solutions. The role focuses on creating genuine connections with potential customers, qualifying opportunities, and guiding homeowners through a complete sales cycle from contact to installation.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of sales experience, a valid driver’s license, and comfort with IPAD/CRM tools. The position is in-person across local markets with competitive compensation and bonus

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of sales and/or lead generation experience.
• Must be 21 years of age, possess a valid driver’s license, and maintain a clean driving record with the ability to pass a driving background check.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to spend time traveling within local market, depending on business needs and sales model.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Intermediate comfort level with technology, utilizing an IPAD/computer and multiple software applications (CRM is a plus).

Responsibilities

• Develop self-generated sales strategies, leads and appointments with potential customers.
• Provide an industry-leading customer sales experience from initial contact through installation and after the customer’s system is turned on.
• Conduct in-home sales presentations for potential customers and assess their knowledge and needs, building long-lasting relationships.
• Handle the pipeline of activity from prospect to install by following up with all leads and in-home consultations.
• Accurately disposition and report on outcomes via our CRM tool.
• Meet minimum required sales targets as set by sales leadership.
