Job summary

Sunrun Inc. is seeking a Field Sales Consultant to generate their own leads and present solar products during in-home visits. You will connect with homeowners, qualify needs, and guide them toward solar as a viable energy solution.

This role requires traveling within the local market, flexible hours including evenings and weekends, and strong communication to build lasting relationships. A competitive compensation plan includes commissions and incentives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of sales and/or lead generation experience, with in-home sales preferred.
• Must be 21+ years old, valid driver’s license, clean driving record and able to pass a driving background check.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to partner cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Develop self-generated sales strategies, leads and appointments with potential customers.
• Provide an industry-leading customer sales experience from contact through installation and post-installation.
• Conduct in-home sales presentations and evaluate customers’ needs to build lasting relationships.
• Handle pipeline from prospect to install and follow up on all leads and consultations.
• Accurately report outcomes via the CRM tool.
• Meet minimum sales targets as set by leadership.
