Job summary

ADT’s Field Operations team seeks a Smart Home Consultant to guide residential customers in designing and installing home security and IoT solutions. You will perform hands-on installation, educate customers on the ADT app, and ensure solutions meet individual needs.

Role involves in-home visits, consultative sales, and ongoing customer support. Training is provided; annual earnings potential includes base pay, commissions, and bonuses.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service is preferred.
• Technical aptitude with smart device ecosystems and connected technologies.
• Ability to understand how multiple products interact within a home network.

Responsibilities

• Deliver in-home consultations and assessments
• Recommend smart home and security solutions based on customer goals
• Install and activate security hardware, cameras, IoT devices, and smart home products
• Integrate new products with the customer’s existing setup
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical questions
• Complete customer onboarding and product education
• Build long-term customer confidence through proactive support
• Identify upsell opportunities that strengthen home protection
