Job summary

ADT is hiring a Smart Home Consultant to guide residential customers in designing a secure home setup. You’ll perform in‑home consultations, install devices, and educate customers on our app and features. You’ll tailor solutions to each home, combining hands‑on installation with consultative sales.

You will earn hourly pay with uncapped commissions and performance bonuses while receiving paid training and a company vehicle. This role offers a path to growth within ADT’s Field Operations team.

Qualifications

• Clear, customer‑facing communication skills.
• Technical comfort with smart home ecosystems and IoT devices.
• Ability to explain complex systems in simple terms for residential customers.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver in‑home consultations and assessments for residential customers.
• Recommend smart home and security solutions aligned with customer goals.
• Install and activate security hardware, cameras, IoT devices, and smart home products.
• Integrate new products with the customer’s existing setup and network.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical questions from customers.
