Job summary

Beyond Home Health Care is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide in-home and community-based speech, language, and swallowing services to adults with developmental disabilities across New Jersey.

This per diem/contract role offers flexible scheduling, a self-directed caseload, and the ability to work statewide to support participants under NJ DDD guidelines. Compensation is $72–$78 per hour with weekly pay and DDD compliance training.

Qualifications

• Current NJ license issued by the NJ Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology Advisory Committee.
• ASHA CCC-SLP required; CFs considered with appropriate supervision.
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience preferred; CFs and new graduates considered.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Clean criminal background check and fingerprinting per NJ DDD requirements.
• Reliable transportation, valid NJ driver's license, and current auto insurance.
• Ability to pass DDD-required background checks including CRoff.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans aligned with ISP and person-centered goals.
• Deliver one-on-one therapy services in the participant's home and community settings.
• Document services in compliance with DDD standards, including session notes, progress notes, and outcome measures.
• Collaborate with Support Coordinators, families, caregivers, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.
• Provide caregiver training and home programs to reinforce therapeutic goals between sessions.
• Adhere to all DDD policies, including the DDD Provider Policies & Procedures Manual and HIPAA confidentiality standards.
• Maintain accurate billing records consistent with DDD Fee-for-Service rates and authorizations.
• Complete required DDD-mandated trainings (Pre-Service, Danielle's Law, Stephen Komninos' Law, etc.).
