Job summary

TalentBurst is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide outpatient rehabilitation in home settings for older adults. The role involves evaluating and treating patients in residences or care facilities, coordinating with the rehab team, and ensuring high-quality communication and swallowing interventions.

The ideal candidate holds a valid SLP license in California, ASHA CCC or eligibility, and a valid driver’s license or reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Speech Language Pathologist license in the state of practice.
• ASHA CCC or eligible for ASHA Clinical Fellow.
• Must have a valid driver's license or reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise CFYs, students, and support personnel per licensure and standards.
• Maintain adherence to treatment schedule and documentation requirements.
• Attend patient care and staff conferences and contribute to meetings.
• Collaborate with rehabilitation team to select appropriate therapy.
• Adapt plans of care to patient progress and needs.
