Job summary

Cable One is seeking a Direct Sales Representative in the Boise area. You will conduct in-home, face-to-face sales presentations to secure new recurring revenue and incremental revenue from existing customers while pro-actively engaging prospects and customers.

You will identify customer needs, match with Sparklight products, and manage sales orders. The role requires visiting customers, meeting sales goals, and working a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year proven sales experience; or 2 years of college; or equivalent combination of sales experience and college education.
• Stable work history required.
• Must have valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and automobile insurance as required.
• Maintain professional appearance/attitude to represent Sparklight in the community.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Able to work in adverse weather, walk long distances, lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to work evenings and weekends.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct face-to-face in-home sales presentations to new Sparklight customers.
• Identify customer needs and match with Sparklight products; handle interactions diplomatically.
• Reconcile daily sales orders with install reports and document orders.
• Attend sales meetings and trainings as directed by management.
• Achieve established sales goals and quotas.
• Work independently to promote Sparklight residential products and services.
• Manage a monthly portfolio of prospects and plan routes for max face-to-face interactions.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
