Job summary

United Energy Workers Healthcare seeks compassionate Registered Nurses to deliver in-home care as 1099 independent contractors. You will travel to patients' homes in Idaho, assess needs, and provide holistic care with empathy and professionalism.

Document care in the EMR, coordinate with case managers, and educate families while maintaining patient dignity. RN licensure, BLS, and ability to travel are required.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed RN in the practice state.
• Willingness to travel to patients' homes.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Ability to pass state and federal background checks.
• Professional liability insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough in-home assessments and provide personalized care.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed.
• Coordinate schedule with patients per plan of care and preferences.
• Monitor symptoms and report changes to the care team promptly.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Communicate with case managers and physicians to ensure cohesive care.
• Document patient care in the EMR accurately and timely.
• Provide emotional support to patients and families.
