Job summary

United Energy Workers Healthcare is seeking compassionate Registered Nurses to join as in-home health care RNs under a 1099 independent contractor arrangement. You will travel to patients’ homes, provide holistic, compassionate care, and build meaningful relationships within the community.

You will conduct comprehensive assessments, educate families, assist with ADLs, and coordinate care with physicians and case managers, while ensuring accurate charting in the EMR system.

Qualifications

• Active RN license standard in the practice state.
• Willingness to travel to patients' homes.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Ability to pass a state and federal background check.
• Professional liability insurance is required.
• Strong problem-solving and empathetic approach.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to ensure personalized, comprehensive care.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Provide assistance with ADLs with dignity and respect.
• Coordinate your schedule with patients’ plans of care and approved hours.
• Monitor patient symptoms and promptly report changes to the care team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
• Communicate with Case Managers and collaborating physicians or specialists.
• Maintain accurate and heartfelt patient logging in the EMR system.
• Offer emotional support and be a trusted presence for patients and families.
