Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to deliver outpatient rehabilitation in in-home settings for older adults nationwide. The role emphasizes patient-centered care with flexible scheduling across diverse settings, including private residences and independent living facilities.

You will work under a licensed Physical Therapist, performing assessments, treatments, and education, and collaborating with the rehab team to promote independence and safety.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid license in the state(s) of practice.
• Must have a valid driver's license or reliable transportation to and from the patients' residence.

Responsibilities

• Attend and participate in patient care and meetings as a representative of physical therapy.
• Adhere to department and patient treatment schedules and documentation.
• Collaborate with rehab team to implement patient-centered programs.
• Assist the Physical Therapist during tests, evaluations and complex procedures.
• Instruct patients and caregivers in PT techniques under supervision.
