Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to deliver outpatient rehabilitation services in in-home settings for older adults. You will evaluate and treat patients in their homes or in independent living facilities under the supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist, with a flexible schedule across multiple settings.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid license in the state(s) of practice.
• Must have a valid driver''s license or reliable transportation to and from patients'' residences.

Responsibilities

• Attends and contributes to patient care, staffing conferences and other required meetings as a representative of physical therapy, under the direction of the physical therapist.
• Adheres to department and patient treatment schedule, timely clinical and billing documentation requirements as well as work related meetings.
• Works with other rehabilitation team members to implement programs and activities aligned with each patient''s needs and capabilities.
• Instructs patients, families and other caregivers in skills and techniques of the physical therapy treatment program under supervision.
