Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation seeks a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to deliver outpatient rehabilitation services in the patient’s home or in living facilities. The role emphasizes flexible scheduling, independence, and high-quality, patient-centered care for older adults.

You’ll work under the supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist, performing therapeutic exercises, functional training, and manual techniques to improve mobility and daily functioning in diverse home environments.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid PTA license in the state(s) of practice.
• Must have a valid driver's license or reliable transportation.
• Experience in in-home/outpatient rehabilitation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attend and contribute to patient care and treatment planning under supervision.
• Adhere to treatment schedules and complete documentation on time.
• Collaborate with rehab team to implement individualized programs.
• Support PT in evaluations and complex procedures.
• Instruct patients and caregivers on home exercise and care techniques.
• Maintain timely and accurate patient records and billing docs.
• Inspect and report equipment maintenance needs.
• Put patients first, delivering compassionate, high-quality care.
• Carry out the prescribed treatment plan and adjust as needed.
• Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, and functional activities.
• Support additional duties as assigned.
