Job summary

Avid Health at Home is urgently hiring Personal Care Aides (PCA) to serve clients in Madison County and surrounding areas. PCAs work under supervision to provide essential in-home care and support services as outlined in each client?s care plan.

The role involves assisting with ADL/IADL, personal care, mobility, and companionship to enhance clients? quality of life. Training and scheduling support are provided, with emphasis on safety and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Current PCA certification and nursing board eligibility.
• CPR preferred depending on client.

Responsibilities

• Implements daily living activities per care plan.
• Assists with baths, grooming, dressing, and personal care.
• Aids with toilet, transfers, and mobility.
• Supports therapy exercises under a Registered Therapist.
• Maintains a clean, safe home and assists with meals per diet plan.
• Performs light housekeeping and laundry.
• Provide companionship and accompany to appointments.
• Use equipment safely and remind clients about self-administration of medications.
• Document shift details accurately and timely.
• Observe changes in client condition and report promptly.
• Maintain confidentiality and participate in ongoing training.
