Job summary

Avid Health at Home is seeking a Personal Care Aide (PCA) to support clients in their own homes under supervision. The role includes helping with daily living activities, personal care, mobility, meal prep, light housekeeping, and transportation to appointments. Strong attention to confidentiality and HIPAA is required.

Experience with care plans and the ability to read and follow physician orders is essential. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus for serving diverse clients.

Qualifications

• Literate in reading and writing in English.
• Bi-lingual – English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Implements day-to-day ADL and IADL support to clients in home as prescribed.
• Assist with personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing) and mobility.
• Assist with transfers, ambulation, and therapy exercises under supervision.
• Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation per care plan.
• Provide companionship and accompany to appointments.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Document shift details accurately within time parameters.
