Job summary

Bethanna is seeking a Parent Aide to provide in-home services and parenting support for families referred by Lancaster County Children and Youth. The role includes intake, initial visits, ongoing assessments, and monthly reporting to the provider agency.

The ideal candidate will use a trauma-informed approach to help families build healthy skills, develop relationships with agencies, and manage necessary paperwork. Some evenings are required.

Qualifications

• Qualification: Bachelor in SW or related field, or high school diploma with child-focused experience.
• Must have a vehicle and be able to transport clients.
• Must be 21 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home services and parenting support to families referred by Lancaster County agencies.
• Conduct program intake, initial visits, and ongoing assessments.
• Prepare monthly service delivery reports and communicate with the provider agency.
• Meet families in-home or in the community according to goals.
• Apply trauma-informed approaches to develop healthy skills.
• Develop relationships with families, county agencies and other providers.
• Handle documentation and paperwork related to all case activity.
• Some evening hours required.
