Bethanna is seeking a Parent Aide to provide in-home services and parenting support for families referred by Lancaster County Children and Youth. The role includes intake, initial visits, ongoing assessments, and monthly reporting to the provider agency.

The ideal candidate will use a trauma-informed approach to help families build healthy skills, develop relationships with agencies, and manage necessary paperwork. Some evenings are required.

Formación

• Qualification: Bachelor in SW or related field, or high school diploma with child-focused experience.
• Must have a vehicle and be able to transport clients.
• Must be 21 years or older.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct program intake, initial visits, and ongoing assessments.
• Prepare monthly service delivery reports and communicate with the provider agency.
• Meet families in-home or in the community according to goals.
• Apply trauma-informed approaches to develop healthy skills.
• Develop relationships with families, county agencies and other providers.
• Handle documentation and paperwork related to all case activity.
• Some evening hours required.

Job DetailsJob Location: Lancaster - Lancaster, PA 17602Summary

The parent aide will provide in-home services for families referred by Lancaster County children and Youth agency. The parent aide will provide support and instruction for parenting requiring parenting, life skills, and/or maintaining a safe and nurturing home environment. The Parent aide is responsible for providing program intake and initial visit, assessment, monthly reporting on service delivery and communication with the provider agency. They will also meet with the family in home or in the community according to the goals set for each family. He/she will be responsible to take a trauma informed approach to develop healthy skills that will serve each family moving forward. He/she is responsible to develop working relationships with families, county agencies and other service providers. He/she is responsible for documentation and necessary paperwork related to all case activity. Some evening hours are required. Some evening hours are required.

Qualifications

Qualifications Bach in SW or related field OR high school diploma with parenting or work with children 10 years or younger in a day care, camp, or school setting. Applicants must have vehicle and be able to transport clients. Applicants must be 21 years or older.
