Job summary

Beyond Home Health Care in New Jersey seeks a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide in‑home and community OT services for adults with developmental disabilities. You will evaluate function, create person-centered plans, and implement interventions to maximize independence in ADLs, IADLs, and community participation.

The role requires NJ OT licensure, ACOTE‑accredited training, and CPR/BLS; NBCOT is preferred for new grads. A valid NJ driver’s license and background checks are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Current New Jersey license as an Occupational Therapist.
• Graduate of an ACOTE‑accredited OT program.
• NBCOT certification preferred; required for new graduates.
• Minimum of one year clinical experience preferred; fieldwork okay.
• CPR/BLS certification current.
• Clean criminal background check and fingerprinting per NJ DDD requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver one-on-one OT services in home and community settings.
• Document services per DDD standards with session/progress notes and outcome measures.
• Collaborate with Support Coordinators, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Provide caregiver training and home programs to reinforce goals.
• Adhere to DDD policies and HIPAA standards; complete required trainings.
• Maintain billing records consistent with DDD rates and authorizations.
