Job summary

Beyond Home Health Care is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide in-home and community-based OT services across New Jersey for adults with developmental disabilities. You will evaluate functional performance, create person-centered treatment plans, and deliver ADL/IADL, sensory, and fine motor interventions to maximize independence.

Qualifications

• Current New Jersey license as an Occupational Therapist (OT).
• Graduate of an ACOTE‑accredited occupational therapy program.
• NBCOT certification preferred; required for new graduates.
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience preferred; new graduates with fieldwork considered.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Clean criminal background check and fingerprinting per NJ DDD requirements.
• Reliable transportation, valid NJ driver’s license, and current auto insurance.
• Ability to pass DDD background checks including CRoff.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans aligned with ISP and goals.
• Deliver one‑on‑one OT services in the participant’s home and community settings.
• Document services per DDD standards, including session and progress notes, within required timeframes.
• Collaborate with Support Coordinators, families, caregivers, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.
• Provide caregiver training and home programs to reinforce goals between sessions.
• Adhere to DDD policies and HIPAA confidentiality standards.
• Maintain billing records consistent with DDD fee‑for‑service rates.
