Job summary

Beyond Home Health Care is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide in-home and community-based OT services to adults with developmental disabilities in New Jersey. You will evaluate function, create person-centered plans, and implement interventions to maximize ADLs, IADLs, sensory processing, and community participation.

Requirements include a NJ OT license, ACOTE-accredited education, CPR/BLS, and a clean background check.

Qualifications

• Current New Jersey OT license issued by the NJ State Board.
• Graduate of an ACOTE-accredited occupational therapy program.
• NBCOT certification preferred; required for new graduates.
• Minimum one year of clinical experience preferred; fieldwork ok for new grads.
• CPR/BLS certification current.
• Clean background check and fingerprinting per NJ DDD.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop ISP-aligned treatment plans.
• Deliver one-on-one in-home and community-based OT sessions.
• Document services per DDD standards within required timeframes.
• Collaborate with Support Coordinators, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Provide caregiver training and home programs to reinforce goals.
• Adhere to DDD policies and HIPAA confidentiality requirements.
• Maintain accurate billing records per DDD rates and authorizations.
• Complete required DDD trainings (Pre-Service, Danielle's Law, etc.).
