Job summary

Beyond Home Health Care in New Jersey seeks a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide in-home and community-based OT services to adults with developmental disabilities. You will evaluate functional performance, create person-centered treatment plans, and deliver interventions emphasizing ADLs, IADLs, sensory processing, and community participation.

The role requires NJ OT licensure, ACOTE‑accredited program, and CPR/BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Current New Jersey license as an Occupational Therapist (OT) issued by the NJ State Board of Occupational Therapy.
• Graduate of an ACOTE‑accredited occupational therapy program.
• NBCOT certification preferred; required for new graduates.
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience preferred; new graduates welcome with relevant fieldwork.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Clean criminal background check and fingerprinting per NJ DDD requirements.
• Reliable transportation, valid NJ driver’s license, and current auto insurance.
• Ability to pass DDD background checks including CRoff.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans aligned with ISP and person-centered goals.
• Deliver one‑on‑one therapy services in the participant’s home and community settings.
• Document services in compliance with DDD documentation standards.
• Collaborate with Support Coordinators, families, caregivers, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Provide caregiver training and home programs to reinforce therapeutic goals.
