Job summary

Beyond Home Health Care is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide in‑home and community‑based OT services to adults with developmental disabilities in New Jersey. You will evaluate function, create person‑centered plans, and maximize independence in ADLs, IADLs, sensory processing, and community participation.

Qualified candidates hold an NJ OT license, ACOTE accreditation, and CPR/BLS; NBCOT preferred for new grads.

Qualifications

Current New Jersey license as an Occupational Therapist issued by the NJ State Board of Occupational Therapy.
Graduate of an ACOTE‑accredited occupational therapy program.
NBCOT certification preferred; required for new graduates.
Minimum of one year of clinical experience preferred; fieldwork considered for new grads.
Current CPR/BLS certification.
Clean criminal background check and fingerprinting per NJ DDD requirements.
Reliable transportation, valid NJ driver’s license, and current auto insurance.
Ability to pass DDD‑required background checks including CRoff.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans aligned with ISP and goals.
Deliver one‑on‑one therapy services in the home and community settings.
Document services per DDD standards with session and progress notes.
Collaborate with support coordinators, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
Provide caregiver training and home programs to reinforce goals.
Adhere to DDD policies and HIPAA confidentiality standards.
Maintain billing records consistent with DDD fee‑for‑service rates.
