Job summary

Beyond Home Health Care, a NJ DDD‑Approved Provider, seeks a licensed Occupational Therapist to deliver in‑home and community‑based OT services to adults with developmental disabilities. You will evaluate functional performance, develop ISP‑aligned treatment plans, and maximize independence in ADLs, IADLs, sensory processing, and fine motor skills, in accordance with NJ DDD guidelines.

This role requires an NJ OT license, ACOTE‑accredited program, NBCOT preferred, CPR/BLS, and a clean background

Qualifications

• Current New Jersey license as an Occupational Therapist (OT) issued by the NJ State Board of Occupational Therapy.
• Graduate of an ACOTE‑accredited occupational therapy program.
• NBCOT certification preferred; required for new graduates.
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience preferred; new graduates with relevant fieldwork considered.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Clean criminal background check and fingerprinting per NJ DDD requirements.
• Reliable transportation, valid NJ driver’s license, and current auto insurance.
• Ability to pass DDD‑required background checks including CRoff.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans aligned with ISP and person-centered goals.
• Deliver one‑on‑one therapy services in the participant’s home and community settings.
• Document services in compliance with DDD documentation standards, including session notes and outcome measures.
• Collaborate with Support Coordinators, families, caregivers, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.
• Provide caregiver training and home programs to reinforce therapeutic goals between sessions.
• Adhere to DDD policies and HIPAA confidentiality standards.
• Maintain accurate billing records consistent with DDD Fee‑for‑Service rates and authorizations.
• Complete required DDD‑mandated trainings.
