Job summary

Beyond Home Health Care is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide in‑home and community OT services to adults with developmental disabilities across New Jersey. You will evaluate function, develop ISP-aligned plans, and deliver interventions to enhance ADLs, IADLs, sensory processing, and community participation.

You will collaborate with families, support coordinators, and the interdisciplinary team, ensuring documentation, compliance, and billing accuracy while maintaining HIPAA

Qualifications

• Current New Jersey OT license.
• Graduate of an ACOTE-accredited occupational therapy program.
• NBCOT certification preferred; required for new graduates.
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience preferred; new grads with relevant fieldwork considered.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Clean criminal background check and fingerprinting per NJ DDD requirements.
• Reliable transportation, valid NJ driver’s license, and current auto insurance.
• Ability to pass DDD-required background checks including CRoff.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans aligned with ISP and goals.
• Deliver one-on-one therapy services in home and community settings.
• Document services per DDD standards and submit within required timeframes.
• Collaborate with Support Coordinators, families, and interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.
• Provide caregiver training and home programs to reinforce goals.
• Adhere to DDD policies and HIPAA confidentiality standards.
• Maintain accurate billing records consistent with DDD rates and authorizations.
