Qualificações

• Minimum of one year of OTA experience in an acute setting is required.
• Home care experience is desired.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, physicians and co-workers.
• Knowledgeable on therapy best practices.
• Ability to make appropriate occupational therapy judgments.
• Detail-oriented and observant.

Responsabilidades

• Provides skilled occupational therapy services in a patient’s home according to the plan of care.
• Observes, records, and reports patient progress and reactions.
• Assesses functional problems and works toward goals with the supervising OT.
• Educates patient and family on treatment procedures and safety measures.
• Maintains charting and documentation per agency and Medicare guidelines.
• Drives to patient locations for visits and completes timely documentation.
