Job summary

The Christ Hospital Home Health Care is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to deliver home-based therapy under physician orders and OT goals. You will educate patients and families, monitor progress, and ensure safety during treatment, contributing to positive recovery outcomes.

We value compassionate communication, meticulous documentation, and adherence to Medicare guidelines while working with an interdisciplinary team in a home health setting.

Qualifications

• OTA with current license in the state of employment.
• Minimum one-year experience as a COTA in an acute care setting; Home Care experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance in your name as a driver.
• Capable of all physical demands.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive skilled OT services as ordered by the attending physician.
• Educate patients and family members; ensure safety and infection control.
• Complete accurate documentation and remain compliant with rules and regulations.
• Follow order sets and goals created by the Occupational Therapist.
