CHRISTUS HomeCare in the United States is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide OT services to patients at home, helping restore their fullest physical ability while adhering to state laws and supervising OT. You will follow the plan of care, educate patients and families, document responses, and collaborate with nurses and physicians.

A valid OTA license and a driver's license are required; CPR certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure in state of practice.
• Current driver's license and reliable transportation.
• CPR certification preferred or obtainable within 90 days.

Responsabilités

• Follow state laws and supervising OT guidance to provide therapy.
• Instruct patients and caregivers in evidence-based treatment within scope.
• Observe and report patient responses and changes to the nurse and physician.
• Educate patients, families, and care team in therapy areas.
• Provide care in diverse home situations respecting all clients.
