Caretenders, part of LHC Group, is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide in-home therapy and restore patients to their fullest physical ability in Kentucky. This role follows the plan of care under a supervising OT and emphasizes evidence-based practice in diverse home environments.

Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure in state of practice.
• Current CPR certification.
• Current driver's license and vehicle insurance or access to dependable vehicle or public transportation.
• Ability to function in any home situation regardless of client demographics.

Responsabilités

• Follow state laws and the plan of care as defined by the supervising OT.
• Instruct and aid patients in evidence-based treatment within scope of OTA and state law.
• Observe, record, and report patient responses to treatment to nurse supervisor and physician.
• Educate patient, family, caregiver, and health team on therapy within OTA scope.
