Caretenders Home Health in Fort Wright, KY is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to deliver in-home therapy and help patients regain maximal independence. This full-time position (32 hours weekly; 20+ hours may be considered for part-time) requires licensure and adherence to state OT guidelines.

The ideal candidate holds current OTA licensure, a valid driver's license and dependable vehicle, and is prepared to work with patients of diverse backgrounds.

Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure in state of practice.
• Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.
• CPR certification within 90 days of hire preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently.
• Good communication, writing, and organizational skills.

Responsabilités

• Follow state laws governing occupational therapy in home care as defined by supervising OT.
• Follow the plan of care and assist patients in evidence-based treatment within scope.
• Observe, record, and report patient responses to treatment to nurse supervisor and physician.
• Instruct patients, families, caregivers, and other team members in therapy within scope.
• Function in home settings with diverse ages, races, creeds, and backgrounds.
