At Home Healthcare, part of the LHC Group and within the Optum family, seeks an Occupational Therapy Assistant to deliver in-home therapy and help restore patients to their fullest physical ability.

Responsibilities include following supervising OT plans, observing progress, and educating patients and families. A valid OTA license and CPR certification are required, along with a dependable vehicle or transportation.

Formación

• Current OTA licensure in state of practice.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to function in diverse home settings with respect to patient needs.

Responsabilidades

• Provide occupational therapy services to patients in their homes.
• Follow supervising OT plans and state regulations.
• Observe and report patient progress to the nurse supervisor and physician.
• Educate patient, family, and caregivers on therapy techniques within scope.
