Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation To You is seeking an Occupational Therapist to deliver in-home outpatient rehabilitation for older adults. You will evaluate, plan, and implement OT interventions in the patient’s home or living facility, enabling functional recovery and independence.

The role offers a flexible schedule across diverse home-based settings, with supervision of auxiliary staff as needed and ongoing professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an ACOTE-accredited occupational therapy curriculum.
• Initial NBCOT certification and a valid state OT license.
• Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation to patient homes.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient rehabilitation services in in-home settings for older adults.
• Organize and conduct OT programs; direct patient participation to restore and enhance function.
• Assess patients, develop goals and plans, and document progress and outcomes.
• Supervise OT assistants, temporary licensees, students and support staff as needed.
• Maintain safety, manage supplies, and coordinate with the rehab team.
