Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation is seeking an Occupational Therapist to deliver in-home outpatient rehabilitation for older adults, in patients’ homes or independent living facilities. You will tailor therapies to individual needs and coordinate with the care team.

A valid OT license, ACOTE-accredited program, and NBCOT registration are required, with reliable transportation to reach patients in diverse settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy (ACOTE-accredited program)
• Initial registration with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
• Valid and unencumbered OT license as required by state
• Valid driver's license or reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home outpatient OT services for older adults in patients' homes or independent living facilities
• Supervise OT assistants, students and support staff as allowed by state licensure
• Ensure adherence to treatment schedule, timely clinical and billing documentation
• Collaborate with rehabilitation team and care providers to optimize patient outcomes
• Modify plans of care based on patient progress and safety considerations
