Job summary

Mercy is seeking an in-home occupational therapist to provide comprehensive OT services to patients with neuromuscular, skeletal, and perceptual disorders under physician supervision. The role requires a current state license, CPR certification, and at least one year of related experience.

Ideal candidates are energetic, able to lift up to 50 pounds, drive as needed, and excel in independent scheduling and problem solving, while maintaining strong documentation and collaboration with care teams.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current state license and valid driver’s license.
• Minimum of one year of experience in acute, rehab, outpatient, home health, or long-term care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home occupational therapy services under physician direction.
• Assess patients and develop treatment plans.
• Schedule patient visits efficiently and coordinate with office daily.
• Maintain confidentiality and effective communication with agency staff, physicians, hospital staff, and patients.
