Job summary

Mercy is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide in-home services to patients with neuromuscular, skeletal and perceptual disorders under physician direction.

The role requires a graduate OT, current state license, CPR certification, and at least one year of experience in acute, rehab, outpatient, home health, or long-term care. A valid driver’s license is also needed and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program.
• Licensure: Current state license. Valid drivers license.
• Experience: Minimum of one year of experience in acute, rehab, outpatient, home health or long-term care setting.
• Certifications: CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home occupation therapy services per physician directions.
• Independently schedule patient visits and coordinate with office daily.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate with agency staff, physicians and hospital staff.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and respond to emergencies without assistance.
