Job summary

Mercy is seeking an in-home occupational therapist to serve patients with neuromuscular, skeletal, and perceptual disorders. The clinician will work under physician direction, provide evaluation and therapy, and schedule visits efficiently.

Requirements include a graduate OT degree, current state licensure, CPR certification, and 1 year of relevant experience in acute, rehab, outpatient, home health, or long-term care. Travel and lifting are involved as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program.
• Current state license as an Occupational Therapist.
• CPR certification.
• Minimum of one year of experience in acute, rehab, outpatient, home health or long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patient visits in a timely and efficient manner.
• Independently manage home visits and patient care.
• Document and maintain accurate patient records.
• Coordinate with agency staff, physicians and hospitals.
• Provide in-home occupational therapy under physician direction.
