Job summary

Mercy is seeking a motivated Occupational Therapist to deliver in-home therapy for patients with neuromuscular, skeletal, and perceptual disorders, under the direction of a physician.

Qualified candidates will have a degree from an ACOTE-accredited OT program, a current state license, CPR certification, a valid driver’s license, and at least one year of acute, rehab, outpatient, home health, or long-term care experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ACOTE-accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current state OT license.
• CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in acute, rehab, outpatient, home health or long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Independently schedule patient visits in a timely and efficient manner.
• Assess, plan and implement in-home OT treatment programs under physician supervision.
• Maintain strong communication and thorough documentation with patients, families, and care teams.
• Respond to emergencies and adapt to changing schedules and patient needs.
