Job summary

Mercy is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide in-home services to patients with neuromuscular, skeletal and perceptual disorders under physician direction.

Qualifications include graduate of an accredited OT program, current state license, CPR certification, and at least one year of relevant experience in acute, rehab, outpatient, home health or long-term care. The role requires strong assessment skills, documentation, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and drive as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program.
• Current state license. Valid driver’s license.
• Minimum of one year of experience in acute, rehab, outpatient, home health or long-term care setting.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patient visits independently and maintain timely communication with the office.
• Perform patient assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Document patient progress and maintain confidential information.
• Collaborate with agency staff, physicians, hospital staff and the public.
• Demonstrate good time management, problem-solving and initiative.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and work in variable conditions.
