Job summary

MarketSource is seeking a Lead Generator to proactively engage consumers at fairs, festivals, home shows, and retail locations to schedule in-home consultations with the client’s sales team.

The role requires a mix of outbound, persuasive communication and qualification, with basic knowledge of home improvement products to inform potential customers. Weekend availability is required and data is entered into MarketSource systems for follow-up.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Working knowledge with the Internet and web-based data collection and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Proactively engages and educates consumers on benefits of the client’s products.
• Qualifies consumers to determine fit for purchasing.
• Demonstrates products to help consumer understand benefits.
• Schedule a free in-home consultation with the client’s sales team.
• Enter consumer and data into the MarketSource system.
