Job summary

AmeriPharma is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) with home infusion expertise to join our team on a per diem, independent contractor basis. The role covers in-home infusion visits, patient education, and coordination with pharmacy services to ensure safe, effective therapies.

Responsibilities include counseling patients, documenting care, and performing assessments in collaboration with the Director of Nursing to maintain high-quality home infusion programs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a current RN license.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in home infusion and infusion centers.
• Experience with IV immunoglobulins and IV biologics; CRNI certification preferred.
• Proficient in IV starts, phlebotomy, and pediatrics a plus.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; proficient with basic computer tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-home infusion visits according to the care plan.
• Provide telephone and in-person patient education on therapies and procedures.
• Collaborate with pharmacy and other care teams to ensure adherence and outcomes.
• Document nursing notes consistently in medical records.
• Assess patient progress and adjust care plans under supervision.
