American Residential Services (ARS) is hiring a Comfort Advisor / In-Home HVAC Sales Representative to meet homeowners, assess cooling and heating needs, and present customized replacement options.

You'll work from company-generated warm leads, conduct face-to-face consultations, and guide customers through the decision process to a one-call close. Training is provided, with a draw after ramp-up and uncapped commissions. Vehicle, phone, and tools are supplied.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to close sales and build customer trust.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Comfortable conducting in-home consultations.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to complete pre-employment background screening and drug testing.
• HVAC knowledge helpful (training provided).
• One-call close experience preferred.
• In-home sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet with homeowners to assess HVAC replacement needs.
• Inspect equipment to determine scope and pricing.
• Access attics, crawlspaces, basements, or mechanical areas.
• Provide recommendations for HVAC upgrades and replacements.
• Present financing options during consultations.
• Close sales in a one-call close environment.
• Deliver a professional customer experience from consultation through installation.
• Work with installation teams for a smooth handoff.
