Job summary

American Residential Services (ARS) is hiring In-Home Sales Representatives (Comfort Advisors) to meet homeowners, evaluate HVAC needs, and propose replacement solutions during scheduled appointments. Training salary transitions to a draw with uncapped commissions in a performance-based role.

We offer company-generated leads, around 3–4 scheduled appointments daily, and a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO and holidays, plus a take-home vehicle and tech gear.

Qualifications

• In-home sales experience preferred.
• One-call close experience preferred.
• HVAC knowledge or training provided.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Meet with homeowners during scheduled appointments to assess HVAC replacement needs.
• Inspect and evaluate existing HVAC equipment to determine scope and pricing.
• Recommend upgrades and financing options during consultations.
• Close sales in a one-call close sales environment.
• Deliver a professional customer experience from consultation through installation.
• Coordinate with installation teams for smooth handoffs.
