Heartstrings Pet Hospice is hiring In-Home Hospice and Euthanasia Veterinarians to serve pet families across Germantown, Collierville, Cordova and Bartlett, TN. Join a doctor-led, family-owned practice offering compassionate end-of-life care in the comfort of home.

Qualificações

• DVM or equivalent degree from an accredited program
• Active US veterinary license in the state(s) of service
• Valid US driver's license and ability to travel to in-home appointments
• Strong empathy and professional communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a mobile practice
• Willingness to participate in rotational weekend scheduling
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist up to 100 lbs

Responsabilidades

• Provide in-home pet hospice, palliative care, quality-of-life support, and compassionate euthanasia services within your service area
• Travel independently to scheduled in-home visits and operate in a mobile veterinary care setting
• Perform physical exams, clinical assessments, medication administration, sedation, euthanasia, and related services
• Guide families through end-of-life care options with empathy and clear communication
• Maintain accurate medical records for each patient encounter
• Collaborate with Heartstrings team and referring veterinarians
• Safely handle and assist with movement of companion animals in home visits
• Maintain professionalism and sound medical judgment while in the field
• Demonstrate Heartstrings' Compassion. Dignity. Respect. in every interaction
