Heartstrings Pet Hospice is seeking In-Home Hospice and Euthanasia Veterinarians to serve pet families across Germantown, Collierville, Cordova and Bartlett, TN. Join a privately held, doctor-led practice that values professional autonomy and compassionate end-of-life care.

This role offers self-managed scheduling, no non-compete, and a focus on meaningful conversations and quality-of-life support for patients in their homes. Competitive compensation with comprehensive benefits is provided.

Qualifications

• DV M or equivalent required from an accredited program.
• Active veterinary license in the state(s) of service required or eligible.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to travel to home visits.
• Ability to work independently in a mobile veterinary setting with empathy.
• Willingness to participate in rotational weekend scheduling.

Responsabilités

• Provide in-home hospice, palliative care, and euthanasia services with compassion.
• Travel independently to scheduled home visits and work in a mobile care setting.
• Perform exams, medications, sedation, euthanasia, and related services within regulations.
• Educate families on quality-of-life decisions and end-of-life options.
• Maintain accurate medical records and collaborate with Heartstrings team.
• Safely handle dogs and cats in varied home environments during visits.
• Uphold professionalism, autonomy, and strong clinical judgment in the field.
