Heartstrings Pet Hospice is seeking In-Home Hospice and Euthanasia Veterinarians to serve families across Omaha, Papillion & Bennington, Nebraska. This role offers a meaningful alternative to traditional clinics, with autonomy and time to provide compassionate end‑of‑life care in homes.

As a privately held, doctor‑led practice, Heartstrings supports mobile veterinary work, flexible scheduling, and no non‑compete agreements, enabling you to maintain professional autonomy while delivering comfort

Qualifications

• DVM degree with active state veterinary license.
• Valid U.S. driver''s license and ability to travel between in-home appointments.
• Comfortable working independently as a mobile veterinarian.
• Excellent empathy and communication during end-of-life conversations.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home hospice, palliative care, quality-of-life support, and compassionate euthanasia services.
• Travel to scheduled appointments and operate in a mobile veterinary care setting.
• Maintain accurate veterinary medical records and documentation.
• Educate families on quality-of-life decisions and end-of-life options.
