Heartstrings Pet Hospice is seeking In-Home Hospice and Euthanasia Veterinarians to serve pet families in Bellevue and Kirkland, Washington. This role offers professional autonomy, meaningful relationships with families, and the chance to practice compassionate end-of-life veterinary care in the comfort of clients’ homes.

Formación

• DVM or equivalent degree from an accredited program.
• Active veterinary license in the state(s) where services are provided.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to travel between appointments.
• Ability to work independently as a mobile veterinarian.
• Strong empathy and professionalism in sensitive conversations.
• Weekend scheduling availability as required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide in-home hospice, palliative care, quality-of-life support, and euthanasia.
• Travel independently to scheduled appointments in a mobile setting.
• Perform exams, assessments, sedation, euthanasia, and records management.
• Educate families on quality-of-life decisions and end-of-life options.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
• Communicate with families, the veterinary team, and referring doctors.
• Safely assist with movement of animals during visits.
• Maintain professionalism and clinical independence in the field.
